whose weapons of Defence

To these he adds a Name
so short and strong,

MORAL:
Child, if you have a rummy kind of name,
Remember to be thankful for the same.
-from Hilaire Belloc's "Cautionary Verses for children and mature adults"
because shampooing carpets is almost as rewarding
as trying to say "gnu."
I do love my little life.
Haha! I love Hilaire Belloc's poetry, and some of his quotes:
"It a general principle in life that those who can make an omelet well can do little else." :D
I find Hilaire Belloc hilarious when he means to be. I haven't looked into anything beyond his humour, however, so I don't know how well we'd get along there. But he and Chesterton must have been a grand riot together.
